Position: Pastry Prep Cook

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our expanding kitchen team with lots of room for growth. The Pastry Prep Cook will assist in all areas of pastry production with a focus on making bread and dessert components.

Job Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the set up and preparation of bread service, dessert, and pastry station.

  • Prepares food to specifications.

  • Ensures freshness and quality of all items.

  • Keeps the kitchen area and equipment clean, sanitized and in proper working order.

  • Assists in developing and creating new ideas and items for the menu.

  • Collaborates with a diverse team.


  • Knowledge and experience in preparing and making breads, pastries, and various desserts.

  • Reliable and predictable attendance.

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Current Food Handler’s card or able to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Employment Status, Benefits and Wages

  • We are looking for both part-time and full-time, all year-round positions.

  • Pay range: $15-$20
