Position: Food Expeditor

Position Summary:

We are looking for a competent Food Expeditor to help maintain a smooth workflow and keep a steady line of communication between the kitchen and the dining room. You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out with efficiency and to help enhance our quality and reputation.

Job Essential Functions

  • Ensures the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the service staff.

  • Facilitates orders by communicating between the kitchen and service staff.

  • Checks every dish before it leaves the kitchen and maintains quality control, presentation, and food safety standards.

  • Learn the restaurant’s menu, and can visually identify all dishes, correct plate presentation, and knows common ingredients and allergens.

  • Understands and upholds health and safety standards.


  • Proven experience as food expeditor in a busy restaurant setting.

  • Outstanding coordination and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to stand, twist, bend, and carry objects for long periods of time.

  • An excellent sense of time management, organization, situational awareness, problem solving and unwavering calm despite circumstances of pressure.

Employment Status, Benefits and Wages

  • We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions.

  • Pay range: $17- $20

  • Share in tip pool
